Licensed Massage Therapists in Luxury Fitness Facilities

Our chain of luxury residential fitness facilities needs a full-time and part time Licensed Massage Therapists to assist us with our increasing client demands. We provide convenient and varied massage therapy modalities for residents in our exclusive locations throughout Manhattan and Long Island City. We deal with a discerning clientele, so would like professional and experienced therapists who will represent our brand well. We specialize in relieving tension and promoting healthy mindsets among our customers.  Massage Therapist responsibilities

• Provide 30- to 90 -minute massages for appointment holders at our locations
• Guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them most
• Take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or medical conditions
• Design sessions around clients’ specific complaints or problem areas
• Listen to clients during massages and adjust technique to meet their needs
• Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions
• Inputting sessions into Mindbody system in a timely fashion
• Keeping all licensure/certification up to date 

Massage Therapist skills

• Current and valid state license for massage therapy
• 4+ years’ experience as a professional massage therapist
• Experience working in a spa or therapy center environment preferred
• Open availability preferred
• Excellent customer service, communication and sales skills

Salary Range:  $ 45 - $75
